We were delighted to have our handmade shell gifts included in The Herald’s Best of Scotland 2025 Gift Guide.

To have our oyster shells recognised as part of a Scottish gift guide was a very special moment for Billow & Breeze. Our shells are at the heart of what we do, and it was wonderful to see these one-of-a-kind coastal pieces showcased to a wider audience.

UK Small Business Awards 2026 Finalists

Billow & Breeze are proud to be finalists in the UK Small Business Awards 2026, in the Best Small Family Business category.

This recognition means a great deal to us as a family business built around creativity, coastal inspiration, sustainability and creating a future for Aiden.

Special Gifted Shells

We have also been lucky enough to have some very special Billow & Breeze shell pieces gifted to well-known names.

One of our handmade oyster shell pieces was gifted to Scottish singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald, which was a very exciting moment for our small coastal business.

We were also thrilled to create a custom oyster shell order that was gifted to international burlesque star and businesswoman Dita Von Teese. Creating a bespoke piece for such a special gift was a real milestone for Billow & Breeze.
