A pretty pair of floral earrings handcrafted from locally sourced natural cockle shells.

Each shell features a delicate pink and red blossom design set against a soft pearlescent background. The naturally ridged edges have been highlighted in gold, complementing the gold-coloured hooks and giving the earrings a warm, elegant finish.

Completed with hypoallergenic findings, these lightweight drop earrings are designed to be comfortable for sensitive ears while still making a lovely statement.

These stunning oyster shells come from the shores of Loch Ryan in the south west of Scotland, next to the town of Stranraer. One of the largest and oldest natural oyster beds in Scotland, dating back to 1701, it is at the heart of conservation methods around the world. The oyster shells are repurposed, washed, painted then decoupaged by hand before being hand finished with gold leaf (or silver leaf, etc., depending on the design). Each one is, by its nature, unique. A stunning gift to take away from a beautiful part of the world.
